Multi-million-dollar producer, award winning sales rep and local TV celebrity are just a few of the phrases that describe Dale Sorensen Real Estate agent Kim Tillet. Kim, who specializes in all types of residential properties located along Brevard County's coastline, has the kind of work ethic and personality that makes her a shining star wherever her path in life leads her.
Prior to becoming a real estate sales agent, Kim was an educator in Orlando, FL, being nominated Teacher-of-the-Year 3 years running. She was also an award-winning pharmaceutical sales representative. Each of these previous careers demanded high-energy, quick-thinking, the ability to meet daily deadlines and problem solving skills, all of which Tillett believes will help serve her client’s best interests. “I believe my experience as a teacher and a sales executive were really laying the foundation for me to become a successful real estate sales agent,” Tillett said. “I’m energetic and able to help my clients easily and comfortable navigate the real estate transaction process. I also have great communication and negotiating skills, both of which serve my clients well.”
Kim’s passion for the business of Florida's real estate is surpassed only by her love for Florida itself. She moved to Florida after graduation from high school on Long Island, NY, to attend college, where she received her degree in Education from the University of Central Florida.
Enjoying her seventh year now as a realtor, she has had multiple opportunities to participate in HGTV programs. She was chosen to film an episode for HGTV's "Beachfront Bargain Hunt" which premiered in 2016. Kim has since filmed two additional shows for HGTV's "Island Life" and is scheduled for a fourth episode featuring Cocoa Beach in May 2017. “The HGTV episodes have done a beautiful job of showcasing the Space Coast's waterfront properties and all that Brevard County has to offer. I love the opportunity to be a part of showing off our wonderful area.”
Kim chose to join DSRE because she loved the company culture. “Dale Sorensen Real Estate is a strong, family-owned company that is an integral part of the communities they serve. It’s obvious they have the best training, marketing tools and technology available for their agents, but the fact they take such good care of their agents and helps us all to be as successful as possible, highlights their love of the industry.”
Kim is actively involved in the community as a member of her children’s Parent Teacher Organization and as a volunteer Foster Parent for the Brevard Humane Society in Cocoa.
